Vaulted Ball Mount: a clean, versatile permanent fixing
The X‑POLE Vaulted Ball Mount is designed for permanent installation of an XPERT or XPERT Pro pole. It is particularly suited to studios and academies and is also compatible with the PoleAway storage system.
Compatibility and finishes
- Compatible poles: X‑POLE XPERT and XPERT Pro.
- Diameters: options for 40 mm and 45 mm poles.
- Finishes: Chrome and Titanium Gold, depending on the selected variant.
- Ceiling: permanent installation into a solid ceiling or a structural joist at least 100 mm wide. The manufacturer specifies use on flat or angled ceilings.
Choose the right option
The selector offers three configurations:
- Ball Mount without Top Insert: includes the spherical mount; the top insert is sold separately.
- Ball Mount with Top Insert: includes the mount and the insert specified by the variant.
- Top Insert only: includes the insert, not the mount. Choose this if you already have a compatible Ball Mount.
Before ordering: check your pole diameter and finish, then select the matching variant. The vaulted Ball Mount requires a compatible top insert.
Installation and safety
The mount must be fixed to a suitable load-bearing structure: a solid ceiling or a structural joist. Do not install it into plasterboard or a suspended ceiling alone. Check the ceiling structure, use fixings suited to the material and follow the official X‑POLE manual. If you are unsure about your ceiling or which variant to choose, contact us before installation.
For installation on truss structures or I-beams, specific X‑POLE mounting accessories are required; the Ball Mount alone does not replace those supports.
